Cirque Touchpad OEM Products |
|
|
is the inventor and original developer of capacitive (no-pressure) touchpads.
Dedicated to research, development and production of standard and custom digital touch-input solutions,
they have been the industry’s leading global developer for nearly two decades.
Their field-proven technologies add simplicity, functionality and value to a broad range of
input devices, including handheld controllers, cell phones, laptop computers, desktop touchpads,
industrial controls, kiosks and more. They provide the most durable, reliable and comfortable input devices available.
Cirque’s flagship GlidePoint® technology spearheads their proprietary product offerings.
GlidePoint solutions consist of touchpad sensors in the form of printed circuit modules integrated
with a sophisticated measurement system that responds to the most precise finger movements.
GlidePoint provides complete navigational sensing and touch control for any graphical user
interface in a space-saving, low-friction, ergonomic and extremely durable touchpad.
Cirque's OEM GlidePoint® touchpads incorporate the
latest advancements in GlideTechnologyTM, including significant
improvements in moisture immunity, allowing them to function properly, even with water
droplets present on the touchpad's sensing surface.

GlideSensorTM
The GlideSensorTM
differs from all other touchpad modules. Available in two sizes, it's a two-part system consisting
of a Flexible Printed Sensor Array (FPSA) and a rigid PCB controller assembly.
GlideSensorTM devices HTS900 & HTS400 are designed to operate through nonconductive materials,
eliminating the need for a bezel opening in the enclosure, and are easily installed using the pressure sensitive adhesive
present on the FPSA film. The flexible lead sections are simply inserted into the circuit connector on the controller
assembly mounted nearby.

Benefits
- Totally hidden, works through solid surfaces
- Adheres to curved or contoured surfaces
- Flexible and thin, fits into tight spaces
- Environmentally protected design
- Superior navigation and high responsiveness
- Excellent moisture immunity
- Tamper resistant
